DESCRIPTION: I've heard that when you are grieving it's hard to comprehend how the rest of the world can just continue on like nothing happened. How could they possibly be running errands, don't they know that someone you love died? Your world stops, but for everyone else, it keeps going. I don't think I could of ever truly understood that feeling until going through the grieving process myself. Some days have been a blurr. I've felt numb. Like I was just going through the motions on survival mode. My only normal. The thing that has helped me feel grounded, at peace and the most like myself has been art. I never stopped creating art through the loss. I've often felt "lost in my mind" while the world keeps moving forward around me.
